Construction site adventure at the Kühtai power plant 2: An impressive company outing

16 trainees, 3 trainers embarked on an unforgettable adventure at the Kühtai power plant 2. It was an excursion full of motivation and reward for the young talents.

A glimpse behind the scenes
The trip took the group to the large construction site of the expansion project in Kühtai. With great enthusiasm and interest, they explored the fascinating world of tunnel construction and received a unique insight into the workflows on site. From already drilled tunnels for water supply to the construction of the dam – the young trainees experienced the various construction phases of this impressive project up close. They themselves come from the fields of agricultural and construction mechatronics, materials testers, bricklayers, road builders, construction equipment operators, and draftsmen.

An inspiring tour
With the support of Peter Wetzlinger, the project manager of the measure, and his colleagues, the participants explored the entire area. Minibuses took them through the construction site, and locals explained every work step in detail. A heartfelt thank you to Peter Wetzlinger and his team for this informative and exciting tour.
