Large infrastructure project underway on Rosenheimer Straße

The city of Traunstein is starting an important construction project on Rosenheimer Straße: The contract includes road and sewer construction work as well as the renovation of State Road 2105, Rosenheimer Straße.

This contract from the city of Traunstein extends from Ludwig-Thoma-Straße to the train station square. The comprehensive construction project will be carried out in three different phases over a total length of about 435 meters.

At the same time, extensive work on the utility network is being carried out. This includes renovation and new construction measures by the Traunstein municipal utilities and other service providers.

The work for the city of Traunstein includes the installation of approximately 450m of plastic pipes, the installation of around 50 new street catch basins, the renovation of edge borders and posts over a length of about 1,100m. Furthermore, concrete paving will be installed over an area of approximately 2,000m² for a sidewalk. Extensive cable relocation work, the implementation of asphalt base layers, asphalt binder and surface layers, as well as the installation of concrete inspection shafts DN 1000 and DN 1500 are also part of the city's services.

The Traunstein municipal utilities are simultaneously responsible for the excavation work for an approximately 375m long 0.4-kV line and for a 235m 20-kV line, as well as for the installation of 1,150m of heating line.

The contract sums are as follows:

  • City of Traunstein: Approximately 1.987 million euros gross
  • Traunstein municipal utilities: 1.313 million euros gross

This project marks a significant investment in the infrastructure of Traunstein and aims to improve mobility, utility services, and the urban environment overall.
