New construction of a two-family house in Stephanskirchen: Efficiency through 3D formwork planning

26.09.2025

A new two-family house is currently being built in Stephanskirchen – and the construction site also serves as a vivid example of the use of our modern 3D formwork planning.

In this project, the concrete walls are divided into so-called sections (concreting segments). The length and sequence of these segments are initially coordinated by the site manager and foreman and adjusted to the specific requirements on site.

Subsequently, detailed planning in the office takes place: The sections are represented in both 2D and 3D models. This digital visualization allows the planned work steps to be clearly represented directly on the construction site. A crucial advantage: Precise pre-planning avoids unnecessary formwork material on the construction site.

In execution, the planned sections are erected, reinforced, and concreted in sequence – efficiently, structured, and transparently.

With this project, we once again demonstrate how digital planning tools can be profitably used in traditional construction: for better organization, reduced material usage, and a smooth collaboration among all parties involved.
