New construction of the 3-court sports hall in Oschatz: A major project for sports and community

A state-of-the-art 3-court sports hall is currently being built in Oschatz, which will enrich school and club sports as well as larger events in the future. The construction is being carried out by Swietelsky Baugesellschaft m.b.H., branch Meißen, under the management of R. Creutz.

A special construction project

The construction project includes extensive earthworks and a robust reinforced concrete structure with prefabricated parts. Special challenges are posed by the nine prestressed concrete beams, each 36 meters long and weighing 65 tons, which provide the hall with high stability and load-bearing capacity. These elements make the sports facility ideal for a wide range of sporting requirements.

The project is supported by the city of Oschatz as the client and the experienced architectural firm RBZ Generalplanungsgesellschaft mbH from Dresden. Together with SWIETELSKY, the team ensures that Oschatz will soon have a state-of-the-art sports hall that meets the highest standards. Thus, the new hall will not only be an important place for sports but also a central meeting point for the entire region and its community.
