Road renovation of the B305 between Ruhpolding and Inzell by SWIETELSKY Germany

22.12.2023

The Swietelsky Construction Company Germany (Branch in Traunstein) carried out extensive renovation work on the 3,770m long section of Federal Highway 305 between Froschsee (Municipality of Ruhpolding) and Inzell from May to early July 2023.

The road construction work by SWIETELSKY Germany on the German Federal Highway 305 in Bavaria, which runs from Bernau am Chiemsee to the state border with Austria south of Salzburg, was predominantly carried out in high construction but also sectionally in deep construction. Specifically, it involved road renovations between section 308 at Froschsee and the junction with Federal Highway 306 at Inzell (section 400). The work on the roadway took place under full closure for through traffic, while efforts were made to allow local residents access to their homes.

Additionally, on the B306 (section 206), the shoulder area was also renovated over a 150m long section, as shoulder plates were installed and a field access was expanded. The B306 was partially closed to traffic during this work. Furthermore, cracks in the roadway were also professionally repaired in this section.
