The Baden-Württemberg-based Knäble Straßenbau Group is being acquired by SWIETELSKY. The acquisition is expected to be completed at the beginning of November 2024, after antitrust approval has already been granted by the relevant authorities. It is therefore expected that the assets of the Knäble Group will be transferred to SWIETELSKY on November 1, 2024.
The Knäble Straßenbau Group is a long-established company from Biberach, Baden-Württemberg, which specializes in road construction and civil engineering and has its own asphalt mixing plant, among other things. The group was most recently in insolvency proceedings under self-administration.
Most importantly, all active employees of the Knäble Group will be taken on. Customer orders will be continued.
“The highly competent team of the Knäble Group has shown its willingness to continue on the path together with the new owner and to continue to demonstrate its expertise. We at SWIETELSKY very much appreciate working with this motivated, strong team,” says Helwig Falch, Managing Director of Swietelsky Germany.
“With the acquisition of the Knäble Group, SWIETELSKY is strengthening its regional expertise and presence in the field of road construction and civil engineering with a focus on recycling management in southern Germany and is continuing to expand in the strategically important German market,” says Peter Krammer, CEO of Swietelsky AG.
