SWIETELSKY Ebersberg is renewing State Road 2078 in the Rosenheim district (Bavaria)

The roadworks are being carried out over a length of approximately 1.5 kilometers.

Since mid-July, the road between the Ayinger district of Rauchenberg and Aschbach has been closed due to construction work: In addition to the left turn lane, a road widening to seven meters, a shoulder of one and a half meters, a flattening of two crests for better visibility, and the installation of guardrails for increased traffic safety are planned.
“Unfortunately, there have been repeated accidents on this stretch. Just in May, a truck spilled its entire load of gravel on the road because it went into the ditch on a narrow curve,” says Ayings Mayor Peter Wagner. Additionally, the drainage system is to be improved. About 10,000 cars were using the route daily before the construction work. The total expansion costs 2.3 million euros. The completion of the roadworks is planned for October 2022.
