Since this summer, the introduction of an Energy Management System (EnMS) according to DIN EN ISO 50001 has been legally required for certain companies. However, SWIETELSKY Germany was already ahead of this step: Even before the official obligation, we utilized an internal energy management system to systematically record, monitor, and optimize our energy consumption.
The successful certification according to DIN EN ISO 50001 confirms and strengthens this path. It underscores our understanding of energy efficiency as a corporate responsibility – not just due to legal requirements, but out of conviction.
Why an Energy Management System?
For us, the introduction of the EnMS is much more than mere compliance. It is a strategic step to permanently anchor the conscious use of energy within the company.
Through targeted energy efficiency measures and the consistent reduction of consumption, we not only improve our operational performance but also make an active contribution to environmental and climate protection. Furthermore, the systematic analysis of our energy flows reveals tangible cost-saving potentials.
