The road construction trainee from the Traunstein branch has won the chamber victory in the journeyman examination.
The training of skilled workers is highly valued at SWIETELSKY, with the Traunstein branch currently employing 28 trainees. It is particularly pleasing that a large number of young employees remain with the company after their training period. Many of them advance to foreman or site manager through further training.
Every year, graduates of vocational training in a skilled trade compete for the national victory in their field. Many have to prove themselves against the competition at several levels: from the guild level to the chamber and state level, all the way to the national competition of the state winners. Every December, over 130 national winners are ceremoniously honored by the Central Association of German Crafts (ZDH). The patronage of the performance competition has been held by the sitting Federal President since 1951.
