The expansion works on Försterstraße, Campingstraße, and Bahnhofstraße in Kipfenberg have been successfully completed. On behalf of the Kipfenberg market town, SWIETELSKY Deutschland comprehensively modernized the transport and drainage infrastructure over the past months, thereby making an important contribution to the municipality’s sustainable development.
As part of the project, the streets were fundamentally rehabilitated over a length of around 500 meters. In addition to conventional road construction, a key focus was on the underground infrastructure: a new foul sewer (DN 300 PP) with a length of approximately 380 meters was installed, including a siphon (inverted siphon) beneath the Birktalbach stream. In addition, a stormwater sewer (DN 300 PP) was built over around 200 meters, while a further 140 meters of the existing sewer were rehabilitated using the cured-in-place lining (CIPP) method.
A special element of the measure was the construction of a new bridge structure with a span of 5.20 meters, which sustainably strengthens the infrastructure and meets the requirements of modern traffic management.
